Channing and I have been extremely busy and working extra hard the past month or so. Not only have we been happily hustling away at our client work, but we have been involved in two charity design projects. We love to support our community and help out in any way possible. What better way to do that than to do what we love...design, design, design!
The first charity design project we are participating in is the Ladue News Show House. Ourselves, along with many other residential design firms, were selected to provide interior design services to different areas and rooms of the selected show house. C&M was selected to re-design the first floor foyer, the grand staircase, and the second floor foyer. We are so excited to reveal our work, as we have the space that visitors see first as they enter the home! With the help of some of our gracious vendors, we have been able to create the vision we had for this portion of the home. Being an older and historical home, we wanted to play off of this in some of our design aspects, while adding a contemporary and lively vibe with other aspects. You can purchase tickets to walk through the home between October 22nd - November 6th. All of the proceeds from visitors purchasing tickets goes to SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Check out a sneak peak preview here.
The second charity design project we are participating in is St. Louis Magazine's Food Wine Design. You can purchase tickets for Thursday, October 20th or Friday, October 21st. Guests will be treated to a fabulous five-course menu and creative tabletop design. Channing and I were asked to design the VIP table for the Friday, October 21st night, and we are thrilled! We want St Louis to see our styling skills in action! Proceeds from the event go to the St Louis Area Foodbank.
I was always told as a kid that you can't truly be a happy person until you help someone else. Channing and I are honored and delighted to help out our community. Below are some sneak peak images of the space we designed in the Ladue News Show House. We hope you all find a way to come see our work and in turn, also donate to a good cause!
